Temporary amnesia and the abandonment in cars

Unintentional abandonment of kids in cars happens because of a phenomenon that, unfortunately, might occur in today's hectic life: the temporary amnesia.

This event make the parents "imagine" that they have already carried out an action (such as taking their kid to school) while, in reality, the action has never occurred.

Nurseries can therefore help families by notifying them in case of an unjustified absence. But carrying out this task "manually" could be very time consuming, if not unmanageable.

That's why you can rely on Kindertap.

How the alert system works

Kindertap carries out, in a fully automated way, all checks and alerts that would otherwise fall on the educator.

The operating principle of the system is as follows:

in the morning the parent (or the educator) records the presence of the kid; the check-in can be done using the cards or manually.

in case of absence, the parent or educator can enter a justification

every day, at the established time (which can be customised for each kid), Kindertap carries out the necessary checks and notifies the family members of absent kids who are not justified

Voice call is the most effective method, because it allows you to check that the message is actually received by the parent.

For voice call notifications, if there is no response from parents, 5 attempts are made at 10-minute intervals.

Simplified management and full control

Each school can also choose to enable the parent to enter justifications and change the time of alert sending. The parent can do everything from the app or the Web.

In addition, in case of anomalies, the educator always has a daily report on his/her app that shows the status of alert sending.

Reliability at the highest levels

We have designed the entire system to ensure maximum reliability and accuracy.

If Kindertap can't alert a family, or that day it isn't working the way it should, what happens?

A special serverless² system constantly monitors Kindertap operation and, if something goes wrong, it alerts the school. How? It makes a phone call to the set phone numbers and explains the problem: "Hi! The maximum number of absence alert sending attempts via voice call has been reached for Luca."

Each Kindertap activity is recorded in a special event log that is always available if checks are needed.
